Flagship – Bridgehouse

Project Overview

A design created by Dan Brunn, the Bridgehouse is named after the very river it bridges over. A mixture of organic aesthetics and modern design, the home has received an award from the American Institute of Architects and press coverage from AD Italy, Dwell, Interior Design, and Elle Decor.

The Client’s Vision

Our third consecutive project with Dan Brunn, we were hired to be general contractor and lead collaborator of the build. The plan was simple: embody the very nature the space is surrounded by while integrating modern design elements and finishes. In other words, create something seamless, sleek, but organic.

The MODAA Approach

Tasked with the project management and installations of the build, our expertise was utilized to its fullest extent.

  • Project management: From timeline drafting to subcontractor and vendor procurement, we were the project managers of the entire build, ensuring every detail, installation, and element was up to par.
  • BONE structure: We used BONE structure zero waste steel framing to lay the foundations of the home, allowing the rest of the build to unfold.
  • Modern design: Marrying organic interest with modern tastes was accomplished through Real Cedar siding, terrazzo flooring, floor to ceiling panoramic windows, and the like. We were responsible for the acclimation of materials, installations, and communication with vendors.

The Experience

An incredible opportunity, the Bridgehouse served as a prime hands on project. From the oversight and management down to the detailed finishes, our touch is throughout the build. Each decision was done in a collaborative manner with architect Dan Brunn, and through which we were able to produce a mesmerizing build worthy of global coverage.
